
Pianist Composer Arranger
The Dallas Ft Worth area pianist, composer, and arranger PHIL KAPPAZ has been performing as a solo pianist for many years. His piano style is calm, beautiful, passionate, and relaxing.
Phil has been playing the piano at St Martins Wine Bistro in Dallas for ten years, and recently played several months at Dakotas Steak House in Dallas. His extensive repertoire of over 300 songs include Broadway, jazz, new age, pop, and classic rock tunes from the past six decades.
For two seasons, Phil composed several pop arrangements for the El Paso Symphony while he was the full time pianist for the orchestra. He also completed several tours in Europe and the US with several musical groups and orchestras.
After completing his Masters degree at New Mexico State University, Phil completed his doctorate at The University of North Texas, concentrating on music composition and theory. Both his orchestral and piano works have been performed in the US and Europe.

EDM / New Age and Pop
Modus I and II and Caravan are soundscapes that were inspired by the EDM world.
The Seer is a collection of New Age spiritually inspired music featuring original compositions composed and recorded at home by Phil (in 1997).
Pop Rocks 89 is a collection of original pop songs composed and recorded at home in 1989-90.
