Pianist Composer Arranger
The Dallas Ft Worth area pianist, composer, and arranger PHIL KAPPAZ has been performing as a solo pianist for many years. His piano style is quiet, passionate, and easygoing. Phil has been playing the piano at St Martins Wine Bistro in Dallas for ten years. Broadway, jazz, new age, pop, and classic rock tunes from the past six decades are all included in his repertoire.
For two seasons, Phil played piano with the El Paso Symphony, as well as on tours in Europe and the US with several musical groups. Phil also composed several pop arrangements for the El Paso Symphony while he was the organization's pianist.
After completing his Masters degree at New Mexico State University, Phil completed his doctorate at The University of North Texas, concentrating on music composition and theory. Both his orchestral and piano works have been performed in the US and Europe.
Phil has also been involved in recording engineering recently, including mixing and mastering.

Digital Faces and Le Rave Concret are soundscapes that were inspired by the EDM world. These were created around 2000-2001 and updated in 2024.
The Seer is a collection of New Age spiritually inspired music featuring original compositions composed recorded at home by Phil (in 1997) with a number of keyboards and synthesizers.
Pop Rocks 89 is a collection of original pop songs composed and at home recorded by Phil (in 1989-90).
